I'm sure that we will be hearing more of this in the coming days, but it appears that House bill 127 is a doozy of a gun control wet-dream. Authored by Rep Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), it contains just about everything that the Left has been pumping for decades.
What do they want? I'll let the FPC explain.
Summary: Establishes a nationwide gun registry that is searchable by the general public, mandates licensing to own or possess a firearm and requires a psychological evaluation prior to obtaining such a license, and institutes magazine & gun bans.

Then, it goes full Orwell. Ninety days after the effective date of the legislation every firearm in the US must be registered. There is no grandfather clause. That's right, 2A advocates. Give made/model/serial numbers to the government. All of them. Within 90 days.
About that mandatory license you're going to need. You'll need a psychological evaluation, and you will pay the government $800 for insurance.
The Democrats currently control the House, the Senate, and the White House. If you thin that this can't pas, you are wrong. Creepy Joe would sign this in a heartbeat. The Democrats don't care one whit for the Constitution, and they are showing us every day.

Is it POSSIBLE that this bill will get passed and signed? Yes. Is it PROBABLE? Well, let’s look at the facts. There are no co-sponsors. Not even AOC has dared attach her name to that abomination. SJL files the same stupid bill every session. So far, it’s never made it out of committee (with Dems controlling the House for a good bit of the last decade). Dems have to deal with the reality that a goodly sized majority of their constituents just got done dropping a ton of cash on guns and ammo over the last year because of fears arising out of “mostly peaceful protesters” and now “insurrectionists”. Anyone voting for that is in for a rude primary challenge. Not saying there’s not enough suicidal congress critters to damn the torpedoes and go full retard, but my recommendation is to be cautiously vigilant while not panicking.
Since the demon crats STOLE the election, the U.S. has been sitting on a powder keg. This is just the spark to set it off. Thousands of demons will be killed, as well as patriots. They are asking for it and now they are going to get it. Pray they don't do this !
Something to consider the DEMONRATS have a thin majority in house and are 50/50 in the senate Take a look at the 14 DEMONRAT senators up for re-election up for re-election in 2022. Some are vulnerable they do not want to vote on this sort of bill either way. The public is already pissed off about the job losses in the energy sector.
In a truly non-partisan follow-the-Constitution Supreme Court, this bill, if it ever became law, wouldn't stand a chance. Which means in these times, nothing.
Except,and this is a big except, compliance will be single digits, just like a lot of extreme gun control laws passed by liberal states. It may become lucrative to become a gun-runner again and be a player in the small arms black markets.
The FedGov couldn't win a war on drugs. They can't even stop telemarketers. They don't stand a chance of winning a war on guns. But they will make sure a lot of blood flows and innocents die. Everyone remember that this is on the Democrats' heads.
