What'cha Cooking, PawPaw?

 I don't know how it's going to turn out, but Belle asked me to cook for her office today, so this morning early, I went out to the shop, and butterfly'ed a pork loin, stuffed it with cheese and sausage, then rolled it in bacon.


Rolling it was fun, but the parchment paper helped a bunch.  It would have been nice to have a second pair of hands helping me, but I managed.


It wet in a 375 oven and we'll check it in a couple of hours.  I'll make a batch of Ouida potatoes and take it to them for lunch.  If it doesn't suit them, then Popeye's is just down the road.

Popeyes closed our local branch and now I only get some when traveling through the capital city . Every time we ever went the restaurant was doing a brisk business but I guess the covid killed it . It is a deadly disease . On restaurants anyways . We still have a KFC but the sides are inedible and the biscuits look and taste like Playdoh .

When is Southern Classic on LA 28E in Pineville going to open? I think Southern Classic is better than Popeye's.

Sounds great to me and any body complaining about free home cooked food deserves a stern talking to. If you don't like it - find something else to eat.
