Joe Biden's ATF Nominee Can't Define "Assault Weapon

The nominee to run the ATF seems to have trouble defining the term "Assault Weapon".  When pressed, he comes up with a "sorta" answer that would seem to exclude any rifle in caliber .22.  We all know that the .223/5.56 is simply a .22.

The first senator questioning him is my senator, John Kennedy of Louisiana.   Kennedy is an old-school lawyer who doesn't suffer fools.  His style of cross-examination can be brutal.

Well not that he is not a true idiot (the nominee) the reason it's so undefined as to it can be warped to everything, every weapon is an assult weapon. That semi automatic anything? It's an assult weapon. Anything that can be quickly reloaded to include revolvers with moon clips or speed loaders: Assault weapons. Anything that may be more than a single shot? Assault weapons. Find it really ironic that this joker is stating the southern border will need to have seperate laws when it was Holder and company that was sending weapons south of the border.
