We awoke to a beautiful Sunday morning. The temps are in the low 60s and the humidity is in the low 70s, which for swampy Louisiana is bone-dry. The weather-weenies are telling us that the temps will climb into the low 80s today, but that the humidity will remain low.
I remember a morning much like this a couple of years ago A friend from Odessa, TX was visiting, and in the mid-morning, he said that he was having problems with the humidity. Those of us from Louisiana looked at hi like he was daft.
We have people coming over for lunch, and I'm cooking burgers, so I guess I'd best get out to the shop and start prepping. Those tomatoes and onions aren't going to slice themselves.

Ah yes ! A home-made burger with sliced onions and tomatoes. Truly one of the finer things in life, especially when done with friends and family. Thanks to our veterans and the sacrifices of our fallen fighters, we can still enjoy this kind of life. No thanks to the libs/commies/dimmocrats/socialinjusticewarriors/RINOS.
