Smollett Convicted

Juicy Smollett got convicted.  The good people of Illinois decided that they have had quite enough of a lying, cheating, sniveling brat who wasted their resources on a hoax.

The news is everywhere.  Google it yourself.  But, as I understand it, Jussie faces 20 years in jail.  I doubt he will get that much, simply because he is a first offender.  Were I the judge, he'd get thhree years and be eligible for parole after 18 months.  But I ain't the judge, so I'm spit-balling here.

But, the good news is that Juicy is now a convicted felon.  With any luck, he will get to ply his trade in the prison Christmas play next year.

Yeah, That slap on the wrist is going to be painful. Maybe a pardon, if that is even necessary in Chicago. He din du nuffin, and will probably be held up as an example of the inability of a homosexual Black man to get a fair shake by the law.

The upcoming comments from Dave Chappell should be epic.

The part that sucks is the sentence rendered by the judge and what he will actually serve has only the most tenuous of connections.

It would be good for society if he spent at least one year in the general prisoner population in the State of Illinois.

That would send the message "It doesn't matter how special YOU THINK you are. You still must follow the rules." to every third-rate celebrity and intersectional weirdo.
