Prepping Saturday

The club shot this morning, and we finished up about 2:00.  Then I ran to the grocers to pick up some groceries for the next couple of days.  Hurricane Ida comes in tomorrow afternoon, and we're okay.

All indications are that we are going to be on the west side of the storm, and that is the best place to be.  Of course, they all wobble just before landfall, so we still have to be aware, but I think my little acre is in pretty good shape.  We may be incognito for a day or so, but in no peril.

I'll be checking the track and the warning cone until it hits, but I really don't expect any surprises.

If you Expect a Surprise
IS it a surprise?
Now I'm gonna be pondering that..

If you are where I'm thinking you are, A cellar is not something you have, is it?

Keep your head down and your feet dry.

Ida seems to be sprinting across the Gulf of Mexico. Bad for the folks on the east side of the eye. Good for everybody else. At least it won't stall out and dump 24" of rain in one place.
