It seems that our President, in a recent rally, promised to shut down all the coal fired plants in the US.
Senator Joe Manchin, D-WV, is pissed. West Virginia digs a lot of coal.
Sen. Joe Manchin, whose state relies heavily on the coal industry, was none too pleased. He ripped Biden in a statement Saturday morning, calling the president’s comments “outrageous and divorced from reality.”
I can't wait until Wednesday morning.

On the other hand, he was the senator who gave Joe Biden the vote he needed for the ‘inflation reduction act’ also known as the climate change investment act that will eliminate all oil, coal and natural gas development.
So he can spare the crocodile tears over what Joe Biden said. Hopefully, the voters will remove him from office, although that won't repeal the bill he helped pass.

It is just part of the "theater".
If it mattered, there would have been a raft of comments about Democratic policies.
A year and a half ago, Biden proposed to shut down 12-13 coal or gas fired power plants every month for the next 14 years.
Where did Manchin expect all the mined coal to go?
