We got up early this morning and went to the hospital where Belle had a follow--up. Got done under two hours, and went to breakfast. Back at home now, and the weather is miserable. 40-ish, misting rain, if I were in Kentucky, I'd predict snow.
So, we're doing what any rational person would do, making a big pot of deer chili.
Yeah, it has beans in it. This ain't Texas chili, this is my chili.

I'm native born Texan, but I forgive you for adding beans. I prefer beans in my chile as well. Especially when corn bread is crumpled up and added as a topper - Yum !!
Cool - cold weather and chile eating go together like peas and carrots.
if it ain't got beans, it ain't chili...it's meat soup...
