Pancakes

The boys wanted pancakes for supper, and that's no problem.  A little flour, milk, baking powder, and egg, and we have pancakes.  With sausage, choice of syrup, and get a beverage out of the fridge.

Belle, working the griddle.  That thing cooks a bunch of pancakes, fast.
When we turned the boys loose on them, it didn't take long to gnaw through the pile of pancakes Belle had made.

Yeah, he's putting peanut butter on those pancakes.  With cane syrup made locally down the river.
The belly is full, and I'm enjoying a cocktail to aid the digestion.  Tomorrow is another day.

Looks delicious.

Adding a certain hazelnut and chocolate spread to the pancakes is a treat.
Sometimes we will add peanut butter and the nut spread, and then a drizzle of homemade raspberry syrup.
I don't think there is any wrong topping for pancakes.
