The news today is that the Biden Administration is slamming oil and gas leases in the US.
If you like cheap gasoline, plentiful electricity, and warm houses, get ready to make some adjustments. Of course, this is all couched in terms of climate change and green energy, but it's going to hurt.
Louisiana is going to lose jobs. Texas is going to lose jobs. New Mexico is going to lose jobs.
Everywhere in the country is going to feel the impact. Some more than others. If you voted for Biden, you voted against the economy. If you voted for Biden, you voted against jobs. Elections have consequences, and I sincerely hope that I live to see the end of the Biden presidency. Many of us won't.

Much of the drilling in TX and LA is on private land, so this change will primarily affect off shore drilling in those areas.
It will make my private oil and gas rights relatively more valuable....
