Small Arms of World War I

CandRsenal has a series of great videos about the small arms of World War 1.

I was surprised to learn that Winchester had two iconic lever guns adopted by foreign powers for use during that war.  And no, I'm not talking about the Russians

Britain adopted the Winchester 1892 for naval duty.

France adopted the Winchester 1894 for rear-echelon duty.

Amazing.  And fascinating.

And if you can find either one of those with the export marks, they are worth BIG $$$!
