Covid By County - US Map

Interesting map of covid infection over at the CDC.  This is their map, not mine.  I wonder what Ron Desantis did differently from all the other governors.  Oh, wait, I remember.  He protected his most vulnerable citizens, then let the rest of the state be free.

Interesting map, isn't it.  It is an official CDC graphic.  I wish Louisiana were as blue as Florida on this map, but we have a leftist, Democrat governor who follows Fauci and the CDC right down to the jot and tittle.

Is that current infections, or cases over time?

It has to be rate by population because a good portion of that area in the Southwest is just open area with little to no population.

I can't figure out what separates low, moderate, etc. Family farm is in a High county where neighbors are 100's of yards apart while home in suburbs is only Substantial. Also this is Transmissibility - please define (Rhetorical to the CDC). Sorry, this data means little.

Check CDC Weekly counts of death by state. Natural cause deaths up 20% in 2020 over average of 2014-2019. 2021 we are running an additional 3% over 2020. This is June, July, August data to measure effect of Vax and normalized per million population. COVID is a problem, but so is the Vax. Get vitamin D and other supplements, get some exercise and sleep. Well care is better than health care. Avoid the vax.

This summer, the CDC raised my county from Low to High in a short time - while the same webpage didn't list ANY cases in my county in 6 weeks. Definitely suspicious...

You're going to want to go back and look at that map today.

FL only reports data up properly on a weekly schedule. Around Thursday and Friday. And you do remember what that was last week don't you?

Data coming through again now, and oh, hey, look, everything is back where it was the week before - a mix of MOD & SUB rather than a magical transformation to LOW across the board (despite what numbers we did have access to last week showing an increase).
