One More Time

News this morning as I sip my pre-dawn coffee is that Matt Laeur of NBC News has been fired for "inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace."

So, it might be instructive to go over this again.  What is "appropriate" sexual behavior in the workplace?  The short answer?  None.  There is no appropriate  sexual behavior in the workplace.  Unless you're a porn star, perhaps.  Otherwise, there is none.

I'm glad I could clear that up for you.

My thoughts exactly - as I've been told at work: keep your work self at work and your home self at home. I wouldn't consider approaching a coworker in a romantic way.
Whatever happened to being a professional and exercising discretion, restraint, and patience?

I guess some folk believe their own press agent. People who read the news who are now making news - neat People trick. Lauer was pulling down $25,000,000 a year - I just don't get that.

Heh, short and sweet. Your advice is spot on without the 30,000 words of blather we are hearing form the talking heads.
