Today, the Louisiana Dept of Health is reporting 17,030 cases of Covid-19, up 746 from yesterday. Of those with the virus, 1983 are hospitalized, a decrease of 13 since yesterday.
Those figures are interesting. We may be bending the curve on this thing. We can't stop doing what we're doing, but maybe we're seeing an effect. So far, 652 people have died inn Louisiana.
Rapides Parish is reporting 135 cases with four deaths.

The wife and I talked about this when we seen they let Mardi Gras go on . Couldn't believe the politicians would be so stupid .
Anyone with a lick of sense would have stayed away from Mardi Gras. Relying on politicians for guidance on how to lead your life is insane. But...we seem to have a significant percentage of the population in this country that is dependent on the government for way too many things.
Stay safe. This will be over sooner rather than later.
