Several source are reporting that VP Kamala Harris is in Europe to deal with the Ukraine crisis.

So, folks are wondering why Biden sent Harris over there when her expertise worked so well on the US southern border. It's a valid question, and I suspect that I know the answer.
She probably gives better head than either Biden of Blinken. That is the only reason I can think of makes any sense. Unless, of course, Biden is expecting war and thinks Harris might catch a stray round.
It's Friday afternoon, and I think it's time for a beer.

So, as this potential war is expected to go hot, you expect the president of Ukraine to fly to Germany. The war pops off and he needs to return to his country. He now has to fly through extensive airspace dominated by Russian fighters and SAM's.
