Listening to the confirmation of Judge Barrett, I am struck by the questioning of Mazie Hirono, (D-Hawaii).
T his woman is a complete and total idiot. Her questions make no sense.
The people of Hawaii made a huger, regrettable mistake in electing this woman.

I have two sisters that live in Hawaii. They were raised NO different then me. Yet they are very much into the "ohana" spirit of Hawaii. The spirit of an all encompassing feeling of togetherness and family caring for each other.
This "feeling" permeates throughout their lives; personal and public. It works quite well when you have an old granny that needs help and the neighborhood shares their left overs. Or they help mow the grass or fix the house.
But when you have a raging drug addict fighting with his demons (literally fighting)on the street fronting Waikiki beach; and no one calls the ambulance/police/ mental health authorities,you begin to surmise that lais·sez-faire doesn't really work. And this is not a singular event.
The attitude of "let them do as they please" may sound admirable; but the dark side will always rear it's ugly head.
Anyway, their senator is a joke if you use "real" standards for measurement. But, for Hawaiians; she is loved. Because of her "ohana".
Biden doesn't make a lot of sense either.
Maybe we should start calling talking total nonsense:
"Doing the Biden and a Hirono."
As my wife said, "Judge Barrett is obviously the smartest person in the room" She will have them saying Ruth who? before you know it. Glad you and your family made it through Delta.
I watched her question Mr. Homan then of DHS. She asked him why they were arresting criminal illegal aliens and was it because of PRESIDENT TRUMP'S executive orders. He replied No senator they violated US Code whatever it was. and she looked at him like a monkey trying to d a math problem. What an Embarrassment to the country.
