Racist!

It's getting so that any time a person makes an argument about limiting entitlements we're branded as racist. Just yesterday I found an article showing that Congressman Andre Carson (D-IN) says that the Tea Party is racist and want to see blacks swinging from trees.
Rep. Andre Carson, a Democrat from Indiana who serves as the CBC’s chief vote counter, said at a CBC event in Miami that some in Congress would “love to see us as second-class citizens” and “some of them in Congress right now of this tea party movement would love to see you and me…hanging on a tree.”
Really? Is that what you really think?

Fine. Whatever you say. The more we cover this debate, the more I become convinced that the Congressional Black Caucus is truly irrelevant to the discussion. They're also a racist organization, in that they limit their membership strictly by race and their rhetoric is inflammatory and insulting. They should be ashamed at the comparisons they make, but people like Rep. Carson have no shame.

"...some of them in Congress right now..."

OK Rep. Carson - NAME the reps in Congress who want to see you hanging on a tree.

The only problem with correctly referring to the CBC as racist is that they don't believe that anything THEY spout about THEIR racial perceptions should ever be measured by an objective standard of racism, and many of the members have said so over the years.

There IS inequality in this country, and what's more Dr. King recognized it and advanced the method to end it: education of his race. Those who listen to the CBC have deliberately REFUSED to be educated, so their racism will always persist.

No Shame and apparently next to no intellect. Wasn't it the CBC who got their collective knickers in a knot a while back about the term "Black Hole" and the word "niggardly"? It's as if they've spent their lives willfully avoiding contact with things such as dictionaries and thesauruses. I wonder if any of the CBC have ever read (and understood) anything other than comic books?

Oh, yeah, Gerry, they've probably all read the writings of Malcom X and all the other marxist and fascist leaders they've gone through over the years.

Most have probably also read Dr. King's writings, but they don't get or discuss the dichotomy between the two schools of thought: individual responsibility as preached by King, and "the world owes you a living because your ancestors were slaves" philosophy brought by all the others.

BTW, little-known fact, the Marxists were not above resorting to "the world owes you a living", either. IIRC, Patrice Lumumba was all about that, and the Sovs built an entire university around him and that ideal, after he suitably altered it to have Marx and Lenin as his heroes.
