Snow-pocalypse

From NOAA:
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 9 AM CST
TUESDAY...
OhmiGod, Winter Weather.  How bad is it going to get?
 * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one
inch are expected.
Oh, my!  Glaciation!  Blizzard Conditions!  Frozen Wasteland!
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
Call 511 for road information.
Precautions!  We'll need at least one year's supply of food and water before dark tonight.

Everyone is freaking out over an inch (possible) of show.   It's hilarious.  The Great Blizzard of 2019 is upon us.

**UPDATE** Sure enough, Rapides Parish Schools are close tomorrow due to potentially hazardous driving conditions.

Many years ago I was a young kid from the northwoods attending BT/AIT at Fort Benning. I was one incredulous young recruit wondering what kind of outfit that I had joined that basically came screeching to a halt because we got three inches of snow.

4 to 6 inches of snow last night/this morning.
Tomorrow night the wind chill is 'sposed to be around MINUS 50.

Here in MN it's ho-hum, plug the car heaters in.
