It is June 18, barely starting the hurricane season, and we already have one participant. Potential Tropical Cyclone One, churning in the Gulf of Mexico.
That cone does not tell the tale. This storm is huge. The rain we got yesterday in central Louisiana is directly attributable to this system. The weather weenies are talking about rainfall concerns over a wide area, including flooding concerns in Houston and Galveston. This storm is a big mamma-jamma.
