Leverage Is A Thng

Back in the late '80s, I was sent t a class put on by the Air Force, an Air Load Planning class.  They taught us how to balance loads in Air Force cargo aircraft.

If the aircraft is at rest and the front wheel comes off the ground, you're doing something wrong.

I stole this .gif from Wirecutter.

Yep, THAT is going to leave a mark... HARD down until the frame is checked.

I've load planned, and loaded, 737, 747, DC-8, C-130, C-141 KC-135, KC-10, and C-5, but I've never checked CG by loading all aft and letting go of the front gear! :-)

Now, I do admit to cocking back a T-37 or three to change a front wheel!

BTW, if loading a 40' flatbed you can use a C-130 load sheet.
