It turns out that our Border Patrol is telling the Mexican government about Minuteman activities on our southern border. We learn from the Ontario, CA Daily Bulletin:
While Minuteman civilian patrols are keeping an eye out for illegal border crossers, the U.S. Border Patrol is keeping an eye out for Minutemen -- and telling the Mexican government where they are. That frosts my oversized butt. Bush had better put an end to this immediately, or I am going to join those calling for his ouster. Sharing intelligence about American citizens with an arguably hostile government could be construed as treason.
According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S. Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegal immigrants -- and if and when violence is used against border crossers.
I'm having an RCOB moment.
