Tony Fauci, a guy who five years ago was a demigod, the toast of society, the unfettered expert of medical science and immunology, has decided to clam up. he invoked his 5th Amendment privilege 111 times today, to include such things as which day of the week it is and the color of his necktie.
Today's hearing seems to have established that Little Tony is nothing more than a narcissistic megalomaniac whose only motivation was fame, fortune and personal glory.

When someone has accepted a pardon they cannot be charged, but they can be compelled to testify. In accepting the pardon they have given up their 5th Amendment rights concerning what they were pardoned for. Fauci’s pardon was so generic it covered everything he did over many years, with nothing specified.
The pardonee can reject the pardon, either by expressed choice or by negating actions. By invoking the 5th 111 times he has rejected his pardon. There are no two ways about it: accept the pardon and testify, or take the 5th which is a rejection. He chose the 5th. He chose poorly.
