The drama seems to be more about the video than the song. The courthouse it was shot outside of had a lynching and a “race riot” at it. Whether they knew that I am uncertain. My inner cynic wonders what the odds are that some sort of sad past racial type events occurred at any historic courthouse or similar location in the deep South. I’m guessing fairly high.

Anything the Liberals don't like today is called racist, to the point where racist has lost all meaning or weight.
This video also shows the idiocy of bug town politics entirely too well for some people.
