Not sure what went on here, but an aviator told me onece that a good landing is one you can walk away from, a great landing is one where you can use the aircraft again.
I once spoke to a guy who had a total engine failure on his first solo! He dead sticked it onto a freeway with no damage and never got into a small plane again. He probably should have made it a career! Very impressive.
