As it turns out, the tough gun laws in California didn't help school safety at all. I don't know what gun laws have to do with school safety. I;ll admit I've always been a bit confused about that.

Another thing that I believe to be true is that gun laws don't deter criminals, and if you want your schools to be safe these days, it's best to have a trained, armed police officer in the schools.
