Knife Ban?

It appears that the Mayor of London wants to ban knives. He's faced with a rash of stabbing attacks, and like any modern politician, wants to blame the tool, and not the person who uses the tool.  I understand that Parliament is set to take some action as well.

Perhaps if Great Britain would bring back the gallows, the problem would lessen.  It's just a thought.

Besides, how are they going to spread peanut butter?

LOL, You dip it out of the jar with your fingers! Messy, but effective. If you want to be more civilized, I suppose you could use a spoon. Who needs bread with good peanut butter?

Do they eat peanut butter in England? Next it'll be forks, screwdrivers, sticks (sharpened or un-sharpened) and/or car radio antennae's. Let's face it, England is gone.

Of course he doesn't want to blame the perps...because a disproprtionate number of them are "Asians" - IOTW, Muslims. Letting the police go after them hard, and throwing them in jail to rot (or out of the country) would be a) "racist" and b) undermining his own voter base.

The not wanting to be "racist" vis-a-vis the "Asians" is the same reason Brit police ignored the serial pederast sex abuse and rape rings for years and hundreds of victims.

Not wanting to be "racist" is part of the problem with going after the violent criminals in the U.S. as well - a vastly disproportionate amount of the violent crimes, including shootings and murders with guns, are committed by young, black, urban males. But admitting that, and then crafting policies and actions to target that violent sub-population, would be "racist." (And in places like Chicago, the gangs are important for getting elected, which gives the elected officials further incentive to keep the police from cracking down too hard.)

You can spread peanut butter easier with a spoon, but when those edges gets sharpened and become shanks,THOSE get outlawed, then England is truly doomed !!
