And there are people in the Catholic Church, including some of the bishops, who have suggested that some of this may be premature,” Pelosi said.Uuuh, Nancy, no one but the Pope can speak ex cathedra, and if I'm not mistaken, the last time he did that was in the 1950s. However, Nancy, the bigger point is that the Bishops ARE THE CHURCH. They absolutely speak for the Church within their dioceses and when assembled, speak for the Church.
As a Catholic, you should know that. The Bishops are the Church. Were I your Bishop, I would probably excommunicate you as being too stupid to practice as a Catholic.
