Third Raccoon

Yesterday, Belle say evidence of a third raccoon in the back yard, so we set the trap again.

Somehow, he managed to drag the cushion from the settee and shred it.  Belle is not amused.

Belle has a friend whose husband loves barbecued coon.  We've texted them.  If we don't hear from them in an hour or so, I'll make further disposition.

Relocation of masked bandits never works. Unless...just thinking out loud here...said relocation was performed with the racoon as the projectile from a cannon? Might be a tussle to stuff their shaggy butts down the barrel though.

Seriously though - once the enemy has declared war, the only righteous response is no quarter asked and none given.

I had one that would sneak in my barn several times a week and take a dump on my tractor seat . He is in heaven now .

Yep, 'relocation' has 'many' meanings...

I prefer coon-daggers to the live traps - you don't have the option of setting them free afterwards unless you also have some way to hold them down while you get them loose. The real advantage of the coon-daggers is that you can set up several of them and catch most of a family of coons in a single night.
