Jus' Wonderin'

I heard something today and went to the Google to see if it was true.

Joe Biden got just over 81 million votes in 2020.  Trump got a little over 74 million.

Kamala got 71 million votes last week, and Trump got a but more than the 74 million he got in 2020.

So, I'm wondering what happened to those 10 million Biden votes?  Did they just stay home, or did they ever exist in the first place?  Did Biden get 10 million bogus votes in 2020?

Saw a graph of the major elections and it hold pretty steady and then 2020 went way up and this election is in line with all the others. Like you I think all the dead people said no this time.

I’ve seen that bar graph if the votes for the past few elections. Note that the 2024 Trump vote was about the same size as his 2020 vote, and the D 2024 Harris vote is inline with 2012, 2016. The 1st Obama vote in 2008 is not on that graph; it was a record turnout especially for minorities. No possible way FJB got more than Magic Black Jesus the Lightworker.

2020 didn't add up to me, while I don't know how many fake votes he had, I'm SURE there were some.
I wouldn't be surprised if more than 10 million are fishy; he had low enthusiasm and minimal campaigning. It seems likely to me that Harris got more real votes than Biden did.
There has been a LOT of quiet work behind the scenes to fight fraud and I suspect that is the difference.

They thing I was watching for was the 19 “bellweather” counties that have historically predicted the national winner. In 2020, unusually, they were won by Trump even though he lost. The discrepancy was purportedly explained by changes in demographics over the years. Trump won 18 of 19 again this time, so I guess I’m supposed to believe that the demographics reverted to their past configuration?
