With all the Biden-Harris talk of the great economy, it's time to revisit that old commodity that we all use on a daily basis. Unleaded gasoline. It has been my habit to take a photo at the gas pump on the last day of a president's term and compare it to reality later. So, here is a picture I posted a while back.
As you can see, when Trump left office, unleaded gasoline at my favorite station was $1.979. Below, a photo I took today at the same station.
Gas is still considerably higher than it was the day Biden took office. That is complete and total failure. Only one of many failures from the Biden cabal.
After I filled the car today, I went to the grocers, bout a 5 lb bag of potatoes, two pounds of sausage, and one bag of peanuts in the shell. Over $20.00. The Biden cabal might be touting a low inflation rate, but that only means that prices are steadily rising. Unless I'm missing something.

They "tell the truth" as a deliberate deception [Bill Clinton was a master of this]. The rate of inflation is only reported back 1 year, so the cumulative rate of inflation back to when Joe was inaugurated is ignored to gaslight the proles. I'd like to see the cumulative percentage back to 2020 as I'd guess it is 30 to 50 percent, based on the current cost of food now vs back then. (This is ignoring how they deliberately underreport the current rate).
1. The inflation rate is not "low"...it's lower than it was at it's peak under Biden, but it's higher than the target the Fed says is a healthy rate (2%) and higher than it was at any point under the Trump administration.
2. The inflation rate doesn't include "volatile" things that can change in price quickly...which includes food and fuel...you know...the things people actually need to live. Food prices are dramatically higher than they were a couple of years ago and are increasing steadily, but that's not included in the official inflation rate.
But, hey...cheap Chinese crap from Amazon is only increasing in price by about 4% a year, so all's well right?
No, you're not missing anything, except money in the pocket... sigh
