It's being widely reported that President Trump took the 5th today in a deposition in yet another witch-hunt.
"I once asked, 'If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?' Now I know the answer to that question," Trump wrote in announcing his decision to invoke his right against self-incrimination.
I don't blame him. There is no reason to make any prosecutor's work easier. The 5th Amendment protects the innocent and the guilty alike.

Plus if his answers deviate one syllable from a previous witnesses 'they would charge him with perjury before he could get up from the chair.
