As I understand the kabuki theater that has become the Congress, soon we will be treated to the drama of yet another impeachment trial that has no chance of arriving at conviction.
As I understand the process (and I am not an attorney, although I do have a working knowledge of the English language), the only penalty is removal from office, and n this case, the defendant is not a public officer of the United States. Hence, he is a private citizen and cannot be removed from office.
Alan Dershowitz, a noted constitutional scholar, says that the Senate lacks jurisdiction in this case.
So, the question is: What will John Roberts do? Will he shatter the dignity of the US Supreme Court by participating in this farce, or will he follow the plain language of the Constitution?
This may be interesting to watch.

If the deep state has an interesting picture of Justice Roberts from one of his many trips on the Lolita Express to Epsteins Orgy Island he will do anything they tell him to do . Never forget that it has been shown who is really in control in the government that used to be ours .

John Roberts has no dignity to begin with. By refusing to hear any cases challenging the massive irregularities in the presidential election, he single-handedly prevented President Trump from having a second term. Plus he has been and is being blackmailed for his sexual preferences and was forced to vote for Obamacare. He also voted for homosexual marriage, and numerous other fucked up rulings. One of the court's most crooked and corrupted judges ever. Fuck him. (He will like it).
