San Fran Nan, the wicked witch fro the West, is still pushing impeachment, with only 10 days left in the Trump presidency. She's afraid that he might run again.
“There is a possibility that after all of this, there’s no punishment, no consequence, and he could run again for president,” Stahl said.
“And that’s one of the motivations that people have for advocating for impeachment,” Pelosi responded.
Last week was in interesting week. The Democrats found a riot that they didn't like, President Trump is again under threat of impeachment, and Big Tech is silencing conservative voices. Conservatism and the Bill of Rights is under attack like it has never been in my lifetime.
The Democrats should be very, very careful in how quickly they change the rules of political engagement. Power tends to change hands in a democracy, and at some point, the Dems will be out of power. They may not like to play minority party under the rules they've set as a majority.
And, I'd be very careful about invoking the 25th Amendment lightly. As many on our side suspect, our new vice-president elect is a very ambitious person.

I might be wrong, but I don't think a successful impeachment keeps him from running for elected office again, just from politically appointed positions.
