Cypress and Steel

The state tree of Louisiana is the Bald Cypress.  We use it for lots of things because it is naturally bug-resistant and moisture resistant.   Cypress is great for Louisiana, because of its unique properties.

We like stainless steel in Louisiana as well, because of it's rust-resistant properties.  So, when we were designing trophies for Louisiana State, it was simply natural to combine those two materials.
