If you want to see the basic, end-result of socialism, perfectly applied, we need look no further than Venezuela.. Venezuela is going down the tubes, descending into utter chaos.
Do we need to intervene? No, hell no. The people of Venezuela need to sort this out themselves. If we do anything, we'll only make Maduro a martyr. This is up to them, and frankly the sooner they hang this sobofabitch and all his lackeys, the sooner they can start rebuilding their lives.
I'll bet that his Army will abandon him as soon as they can.

I was born there 55 yrs ago and spent the first 17 yrs of my life there. I am glad to have left when we did. Trouble is the talking head on that video don't have a clue. The "assassination attempt" with the drone was completely staged in order to justify the arrest the few brave who spoke out against the regime. Several hundred ere taken down in the sweep on trumped up charges. A lot are now dead the rest "missing". Maduro is just a puppet. The real actors in control are the Cubans. Maduro is there cause the Cubans put him there. There are over 10K Cuban embeds in the security and military services. They will not let him fall. They will just tighten up the noose more. If anyone within the system so much texts their friends that he is tired of standing in line to buy the meager supplies he is allowed on his ration card, he soon disappears and is shipped off to a Cuban prison. Folks cant even buy gasoline cause there is none at the gas stations. Why you ask?. Cause the currency is so devalued that anyone involved in the production does not have a choice but to participate in the smuggling of it to Colombia and Brazil where they can get hard foreign currency for it.

This all happened cause the previous US administration chose to turn a blind eye to the situation there and allowed the Cubans free reign to finally do as they had wanted to for the last 50 years.
