Rest In Peace, Dolly

After a busy morning, I turned on the computer and learned that Dolly parton has died at age 80.

Dolly/s music has been a constant in mu life.  She was truly a superstar in the music industry, and her music has reached across genres.  She will be sorely missed.

Dolly would have become a billionaire, but she donated many millions every year.

"In 2022, Parton was awarded the Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy and the Bezos Award for Courage and Civility, which included $100 million to donate to charities of her choice.
her charitable impact is measured in hundreds of millions of books distributed, millions in scholarships, and billions in goodwill. Her generosity has made her one of the most respected philanthropists of her generation, and her legacy is built as much on her giving as on her music."

God has another angel in his choir.

Ms. Parton is one of those individuals who had universal admiration. Not many who have the same said about them.

RIP ma'am.
