Big,, Beautiful

I am sick and tired of hearing about this Big Beautiful bill.  Either pass the sonofabitch or don't.  It's getting to the point where there is too much bullshit in it.

There should be a rule in Congress that any bill considered should be written in 12 font and be no more than two pages in length, written at a fifth-grade reading level.  If it makes sense, (like no tax on tips), everyone could get behind it. This rule would keep legislation focused and easily debated.

The budget may have to be a bit longer, but the vast majority of legislation could be short and sweet.  There is no reason for huge bills.

Yup! You could throw in line-item vetoes, too.

Line item veto's and tern limits. No slipping in a page here and there to make your life easier.

And no add-ons allowed. One bill has one issue. Aye or Nay. No deal making either to “change my mind” .

Press release all of it. “Senator X held out until a rider was inserted giving her district $25 million to study local squirrels preference for salted vs unsalted peanuts. Study will be run by her family members.”
Shame the daylights out of each and every one of them every time.

Watching the tv news coverage of the sausage making over 1BBB has been a disgusting experience. They’re all sly backstabbing dirtbags.
