Utter Incompetence

How is it possible, on Friday after the Tuesday election, we still don't know who won?

As of this posting, there are still 23 house seats that have not yet been determined.  There is no way it should have taken this long.  The only plausible answer is sheer, utter incompetence.  We do this every two years and the officials in charge of counting the votes should have figured it out by now.

PawPaw, C’mon now! The Dummies only need to switch 7 seats and they’ll have the house! Surely the Republicans can toss them a bone. Right?
Bwaaa-ha-ha! I’m enjoying their lamentations. It’s been a while.

I don't think it's incompetence - I think it's like 2022 where the Dems are going to stretch everything out as far as possible to get every vote and seat possible.
In 2022 California Dems got back 4 seats after over a week of "counting" that should have had more attention.

I know I keep harping on this, but...who is counting the votes?  If you can't trust the integrity of those who are counting the votes, it's just an exercise in futility for We the People. Keeping a peaceful Representative Republic starts with the Election Commissioner or Recorder's Office.

Every single minute that goes by is another minute available for fraud.

I think they have used the same trick magicians use . Misdirection. Everyone was so busy watching the Senate...all the time, magic was happening with votes for House seats. How many mail in ballots will come in, how many lost votes will be found. About the time the Senate was decided they learned how much they needed to fudge the House votes. So , the count goes on. They started down by about 20 seats...but remember comrade it isnt who voted it's who counts the votes that matters.

After the debacle that was the Bush/Gore election, Florida got their S**t together, and now can "get er done" by the next morning.
Texas has followed, and Georgia too, IIRC.

There is ZERO excuse for this now.

Here in Alaska the reason our one house seat hasn’t been decided yet is rank choice voting. The final counting will occur on November 20. We had a proposition on the ballot to end rank choice voting which is still too close to call!
