Spring Ahead

Tomorrow we follow that twice-a-year ritual of changing our clocks.  Nurses and cops like this particular change, because  a 12 hour shift lasts only 11 hours.  That is a good thing.  In the fall, the time change makes the shift 13 hours.

We shot with the club this morning, and ran errands.  Now we're back at home, kicking back on a Saturday afternoon.  Belle will declare Happy Hour shortly.

In this era of 79 genders I think we should have lots more time zones, say a dozen. Your summer hours are based on local high noon at the summer solstice, winter on the winter solstice. It wouldn’t be any worse

Thanks for the reminder. Hadn't thought about that.

Ah yes, the proverbial short shift! :-)

I don't think a dozen is enough. I think we should have a hundred or more, with some of them in the north and others in the south.
And some people should advocate for personal time zones that other people must follow when contacting them...
