Constitutional Carry, Once Again

KPEL is reporting that yet another bill has been filed to make Louisiana a constitutional carry state.  Such bills have been filed in recent years, and passed the legislature. They were vetoed by our lackluster governor, and the legislature has been unwilling to over-ride the veto.

Our legislature is a piece of work, with a huge Republican majority in both houses, but the number of RINOs in both bodies make it virtually impossible to get anything done.  Louisiana is both an open-carry state and a shall-issue state but the legislature is absolutely impotent when it comes to reining in our Democrat governor.  As a whole, they are worthless.

You're one up on Florida. Perhaps two.

You have open carry and a governor from the opposite party to blame the lack of movement on.

I can carry due to a recent change. Veterans in Louisiana need no further documentation other than a driver's license noting veteran status.

A picture of your last DD-214 on your phone works. And you have to be honorably discharged.
