We're tracking the tropics as we are wont to do this time of year.
The disturbance map for NOAA shows one little rain-makers in the Gulf but it won't amount to much. We will thank God for the continued calm in the tropics. With all the other bad news from across the country, this respite is certainly well received.

It seemed to originate just south of Mobile Bay. It tracked SW, went right over me here in Green Canyon area. We just got a bunch of rain, not really any high winds.
South Texas can use the rain.
