A new study of cities over 200,000 people shows a surprising list of cities. Here is the top 10.
New Orleans. Louisiana's very own third-world hell hole. The current city administration seems bent on making New Orleans the most dysfunctional city on the North American continent. Before hurricane Katrina, I enjoyed going to New Orleans for a weekend away. Great food, good culture. Nowadays I wouldn't go to New Orleans on a bet.

Somehow I'm not surprised. NO and Baltimore want to play with the big boys but only succeed in areas like this.
Each one of those cities has something in common.
Each one has a Democrat administration.
But, I bet you already had figured that out.
Those are just the "cities"... try Albany, GA and Augusta, GA. Macon, too for that matter.
They all have something else in common, too.
Jackson, MS has a rate of about 100/100,000, or THREE TIMES the highest rate shown.
