It's all over the news that Roger Stone, a previous Trump advisor was arrested this morning. It's everywhere. In the pre-dawn hours, the FBI executed an arrest warrant at Stones home in Florida.
Amazingly, it was all caught on video.
The big news, to my mind, is not that the FBI arrested someone for whom they had a warrant. That is their job. The big news is that the FBI is now tipping off news agencies when they make a splashy arrest.
This is what the FBI has become. It's a shame, it's a damned shame.

When did it become necessary to send a swat team predawn to arrest a guy for white collar crime? Is it now standard procedure that every arrest is done with the assumption Pablo Escobar, Bin Laden and Carlos the Jackal are inside?
These people are scared, they are pulling out all the stops in an attempt to find something, anything to keep the pressure on Trump. The news feed is evidence of that.
You hit it directly on the head. The disgraced FBI had to make as big a show of a simple pick-up warrant as was possible, to the point that it became ridiculous in it's Ma Deuce ( Browning .50 cal tripod or vehicle mounted machine gun, for those unfamiliar ) to open a hard boiled egg approach to the arrest- VASTLY over equipped, comically overplayed. What a farce.
The valiant FBI is dashing around arresting people for obstruction, lying and witness tampering. Unless they are marxists or gangsters. Do they run around with very carefully adjusted blinders on? Any big bust the FBI makes these days, Cartel, whatever, is suspect as a result of this activity. Any associate of Hillary/Obama Inc. doesn't get busted?
That really makes it a farce.
I have no faith or trust in the FBI anymore. They have become the Brownshirts of the progressive party.
There may be some good agents left in the FBI. But stunts like this smear them with the same wretched stink as all the other biased ones making the news. It doesn't appear there is a shred of dignity left in the FBI, at least not as reported by the MSM.
