As much as I enjoy this blog, I'm considering a change or two, but I thought I'd get my (half-dozen) readers input before I made the change.
Last year about this time I started a new route on my firearms journey. I've gotten really involved in the Cowboy Fast Draw Association. It takes up a lot of my time, and regular readers will know that many of my blog posts are associated with that hobby.
So, I've been thinking about splitting this blog into two blogs. One for regular posting and one dedicated simply to Cowboy Fast Draw shooting, guns and equipment.
What say ye? Keep it like it is, or split it up? And yes, your opinion matters.

Keep it like it is. If you split it into 2 blogs, that just means I gotta go to 2 different places daily.
I made the decision to split mine and the new one has been neglected so long I'll probably just kill it off next time I think about it. Most people read the posts that interest them and skim or skip the rest.
I like it like it is, but it is your wagon.
Major D, I like your work just fine the way it is. Keep skinnin' that smoke-wagon ever faster. Your topical postings are spot-on, too.
I like it how it is, but I hate change. Like DLG said, I'd just have another place to read daily
I like the place like it is. I think of it as a library, if I don't want to read something I don't have to read it.
My 2 cents. Keep it like it is. I like all the topics and each day is a surprise as to what we will be reading.
Keep them together. :-)
I'd say keep them together unless you want to go more and more into the fast draw sport. If so, sure, dedicate one (new) blog to that, but please keep the old one going! I may be only a former Louisianan (and an immigrant, expatriate one at that), but I enjoy reading your blog in general.
Yeah, I tried that once. A few years ago. I found that the things that I thought about "B" topics didn't get much (any!) response, but the folks who wanted to read the crap I had to say were still on "A" website.
Besides, it's a real pain to monitor multiple websites.
If I don't want to read about fast-draw competition I can just ignore it. But if I want to see what Paw has to say, I probably won't try to follow both websites. So I'll miss some articles which I might otherwise want to have read.
What you have is working for you. Why undermine your readership?
I say keep it like it is. I've been reading you for I bet close to 10 years (maybe longer) and its always been a mix of stuff. This is just more of the mix in my opinion.
Keep it all right here!
Agreed, also it is two places for you to keep up on. I find blogs, except a couple rare special snowflakes, need fairly regular posting say 3x a week to keep traffic. I'd keep it in one spot. Folks can just skim the posts that don't interest them.
Oh puleaze keep it the way it is!!! It is my safe place that I cling to; after working with societies detritus!!!!!!
Well you wanted my honest opinion didn't ya!?!?
Steve
Keep it all on one blog please.
One blog please.
Not to be boring, but it is fine as it is.
keep as is
I'm partial to the blended blog. It's you, it's your blog, and all your interests make you. I have one blog I split off and I ended up cross-posting anyway so pretty much stopped updating the second one.
