Clinton comments occur from 16:25-17:45Clinton knew, she had to know, that the video story was a lie. Yet she made that statement anyway, knowing that she was lying to the American people. That is probably the most craven act of political misdirection since the Tonkin Gulf incident.
“This has been a difficult week for the State Department and for our country. We’ve seen the heavy assault on our post in Benghazi that took the lives of those brave men. We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful internet video that we had nothing do to with. It’s hard for the American people to make sense of that, because it is senseless, and it is totally unacceptable. The people of Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Tunisia, did not trade the tyranny of a dictator for the tyranny of a mob. Reasonable people and responsible leaders in these countries in these countries need to do everything they can to restore security and hold accountable those behind these violent acts. And we will, under the president’s leadership, keep taking steps to protect our personnel around the world.”
Instapundit has the video at the link. Go see for yourself. Clinton deserves to go to jail for this lie.

The clintons lie, it is what they do. If a clinton's lips are moving it is lying, if it looks as if it's going to speak, it's formulating a lie, if it's mouth is shut, it has lied.

As much as folks want to hang this one on BHO, this is Hillary's baby, pure and simple. Ambassadors report directly to SECSTATE.
SHE is the one who denied the request for extra security.
It's too bad the MSM was complicite in suppressing this. It would have been fun to watch BHO have to throw her under the bus to save his re-election.
And she's hoping she gets away with it... again...
Termite: I believe you are correct, as far as you go, however it would take someone with the power of the commander in chief to tell the various military forces to stand down. In my opinion...

In the lower right hand side of the site listed below, there is reading about the Tonkin Gulf incident from the people that were there. Much different then "common knowledge".
