Nashville to the Millington Naval Station near Memphis, all across Tennessee there have been devastating floods. It is, according to the weather service, a thousand-year flood.”A thousand year flood. That sure beats a hundred year flood, although when you're treading water, it's hard to tell the difference.
"The other reason we haven’t heard so much about it is this: Tennesseans have been busy cleaning up and helping each other, instead of complaining and looting. But people are hurt. Thousands of people are hurt, but they’re going about their business helping themselves and helping others in remarkable and inspiring ways.”The Middle Tennessee chapter of the American Red Cross is accepting donations for flood relief.
I don't think I've seen much about this on the news. No victim class to exploit.

And NS Millington is under 4-5 feet of water. All the sailors had to be evacuated from base housing with almost NO notice. They've pretty much lost everything. Navy Relief is helping out along with donations from Sailors/Marines all over the world. And yeah, people are WORKING not whining...
