The Worst Heat Wave Of The Year Is Coming…

I've learned to trust this guy, as many of his prognostications have turned out to the accurate. I was looking at the local weather today, and Belle and I were discussing the heat wave that we are experiencing.  The tropics are starting to gin up and the Pacific is really looking weird.  Tropical storms in southern California?  Really?

We could use some rain, there is no doubt about that.  Y'all keep an eye on your local weather.

Ya know, I still don't believe nor trust the climate change hoaxers one iota, but... the weather has been a bit whacky of late? Not outside-the-range-of-normal, but just whacky.

I saw a weather blurb this morning about a 'development' in the Gulf a soon to be event. Might get some needed rain out of this one.

Thought this article was interesting and could possibly explain the current weather. YMMV.

In in a state in that purple heat dome. It's suppose to be 76 right now but will get up to 82 and night will be down to 61. Been like that most of summer. We are not experiences any type of really hot weather. But pollen has gone crazy.

I have come to like Ryan Hall. He is no wizard with a crystal ball but he is very good at reasoning cause and effect of climate patterns. Not like our local weather men here who keep my wife in constant fear of the apocalyptic weather. And all you have to learn about it is hold on till after you watch a few words from their sponsors.I could never get her to recognize the pattern. Luckily He has retired but his underlings are carrying on the tradition as well as the other networks have caught on to the ploy.

I came to say what Juvat linked to.

A 5 to 10% increase in atmospheric water vapor goes a long way towards explaining the wacky weather this year.
