I Like Maker's

Maker's Mark is a Kentucky bourbon whiskey.  Makers Mark is a "wheater", which means that they use wheat in the mash bill in place of rye. The most obvious marketing visual is the bottle shape and the signature red wax seal that is hand applied to each bottle.  I understand that Maker's has registered that wax as a trademark.

It looks like someone bobbled a bottle.

If I had seen that bottle on the shelf, I'd have picked it up for sure.

Their trademark must be for whiskey only since similar covering on wine is common for wines from the Mediterranean.
Is it me, or is that was a different shade than the others?

There's a distiller named Boundary Oak Distilling, located near Ft Knox that makes several whiskeys with military themed names. They have one for Patton, plus ones for the 82nd, 1st and 3rd Infantry Divisions.

The 82nd one features a maroon wax seal.
