Mister Justice Kavanaugh sided with he liberals in a 5-4 decision involving the CDC's moratorium on evictions.
While almost everyone agrees that the CDC had no authority to issue such a moratorium in the first place, Kavanaugh let it ride.
As he often does, Kavanaugh wrote to explain why he voted to allow the moratorium to remain in place. On the one hand, he said he agreed with the District Court that the CDC exceeded its statutory authority by issuing a nationwide moratorium.
But, he said, because the CDC has said it will end the moratorium in a few weeks he would allow it to remain in place. He said the extra weeks will “allow for additional and more orderly distribution of the congressionally appropriated rental assistance funds.”
This is precisely the wrong decision. If Kavanaugh believed hat the CDC over-stepped its authority, he should have slapped it down. But, he seems to have been hanging out with his liberal buddies too long, and now believes that his job is to do some sort of feel-good social engineering.

When all the judges attended very liberal schools, even the "conservatives" will be pretty liberal...
The Supreme Court* gave up all its power and authority to rule on legal matters when it ended the sovereignty of the United States of America by returning us to the time BEFORE the Declaration of Independence by invalidating our rights to free and fair elections. By nullifying our right to govern ourselves and form our own government independent of appointed, or those granted authority over us by birth, they have returned us to a state of WAR between We the People and the federal government which was neither elected nor chosen to rule over us in any manner, but simply installed over us by pretenders to the legitimate government that governed us for over two hundred years.
Any governmental documents. laws, decrees, rulings, agreements, regulations, and orders created after the now nullified Declaration of Independence are invalid, moot, null, and void.
We are no longer under the rule of law of the illegitimate federal government. Only the laws of the States still apply.
*the Supreme Court is like regular court but with tomatoes and sour cream.
If I had rent houses and my tenants weren't paying, I'd evict their asses in accordance with Louisiana state law, and the CDC could kiss my ass.
Makes you wonder if Trump was REALLY a liberal plant.....
