She should have been back a couple of meters, which would have greatly reduced her signature. (She probably didn't because of height issues - she's short, and had nothing in the room to sit or stand on to keep the rifle above the level of the window sill.)

She's a Kurdish Peshmerga fighter in Syria. She was targeting ISIS members.
LOOKS like they targeted HER pretty well. Hopefully, she still breathes.

If I remember correctly, it was reported she was killed shortly thereafter.
